### Week 1 — Charter Draft

- [ ] Download the charter template from wizzmo.app/clubs
- [ ] Fill in all `[bracketed]` fields (university name, city, founding date)
- [ ] Identify your 4 founding officers (VP, Treasurer, Social Chair, Brand Chair) — can be informal at this stage, just need names
- [ ] Look up your university's student-org registration process (search "[university name] register student organization")
- [ ] Note the submission deadline — most schools have semester cutoffs
- [ ] Email Reagan at hello@wizzmo.app to confirm your chapter intent (subject: "chapter — [your school]")
- [ ] **Milestone:** Draft charter ready, officers identified

### Week 2 — Faculty Advisor Secured

- [ ] Identify 2-3 faculty/staff candidates (see `faculty-advisor-outreach.md` for who to ask)
- [ ] Send the advisor email to your top choice (template in `faculty-advisor-outreach.md`)
- [ ] Follow up if no response after 48 hours
- [ ] Confirm advisor and get their signature on the charter
- [ ] Update charter with faculty advisor name and contact
- [ ] **Milestone:** Signed charter with faculty advisor

### Week 3 — Student-Org Office Submission

- [ ] Gather all required documents (varies by school, typically: constitution/charter, officer list, advisor confirmation, sometimes a brief org description)
- [ ] Create the official organization profile in your school's org management system (Presence, OrgSync, Engage, Campus Groups, etc.)
- [ ] Submit all documents to the student-org office
- [ ] Request a meeting with your student-org coordinator if available — introduces you and can speed up approval
- [ ] Email Reagan with your submission confirmation (she'll green-light the $200 launch grant)
- [ ] **Milestone:** Charter submitted, awaiting approval

### Week 4 — First Event Under Wizzmo Society Banner

- [ ] Approval received from student-org office (if not yet, proceed — most schools allow programming during review)
- [ ] Book your first room using your new org status (this is the whole point — you can now book institutional space)
- [ ] Plan a simple first event: a 10-person dinner or "wizzmo office hours" session works well for a debut
- [ ] Post to Instagram as @wizzmo[yourschool] or tag @wizzmoapp
- [ ] Email attendee list to hello@wizzmo.app after the event (first event triggers swag pack shipment)
- [ ] **Milestone: Launched.** You're now Wizzmo Society at [Your School].

### After Launch — Ongoing

- [ ] Attend monthly chapter call with Reagan (calendar invite sent after launch)
- [ ] Submit SGA budget request within first 3 weeks of each semester
- [ ] Host at least 4 events per semester (2 dinners + 1 office hours + 1 reveal/matchmaking event is a solid cadence)
- [ ] Recruit 1-2 new Wizzmos each semester via the /become-a-wizzmo flow
- [ ] Renew faculty advisor agreement each academic year
